This league is a co-ed, recreational team for adult rowers, ages from 19+ (not competing in a collegiate program). The primary focus of the league is on improving fitness and technique in a fun, focused environment with skill-appropriate opportunities to race at local and regional regattas. Visiting the area and want to row?
Prior to use of the facility or rowing equipment, all Guests must:
• Pay appropriate fees per visit: guest fee $5/day (waived for member-sponsored guests); boat usage $10/day; and launch fees $15/day
• Submit a copy of their current float test certification
• Sign the George Pocock Rowing Foundation (GPRF) and US Rowing liability waiver.
Access to singles (1x) and doubles (2x) comes with membership! You need to pass the self rescue/skills test in order to check out a boat by yourself. In addition, you must also have participated (or be currently) in coached programming, for at least six months, or have approval from the Program Manager.
The first priority of all members is the safety of all persons on the water and on land. The second priority of all Members is the safety and maintenance of all rowing equipment. The third priority of all members is the safety and maintenance of the RRC building and its equipment. Failure to follow RRC safety policies can be grounds for suspension of member privileges or expulsion.
