Youth Learn to Row Summer Camps

Monday - Friday

Join us for our 2 week Youth Learn to Row camps!

These camps are designed for rowers with little or no prior rowing

experience and will instruct participants on the fundamentals of the rowing technique, terminology, and equipment handling. The goal of these camps is to provide new rowers with the skills they need to progress to our Experienced camps later in the summer! These camps are also great refresher courses for athletes who have not rowed in 6 months or more. New rowers who are rising 11th or 12th graders are encouraged to hop right into our Experienced High School camps (see below).

Recommended experience level:

None - less than 3 months

Session I Dates: Monday, June 17th - Friday, June 28th

Session II Dates: Monday, July 8th - Friday, July 19th

Session III Dates: Monday, July 29th - Friday, August 9th

Session IV Dates: Monday, August 12th - Friday, August 23rd

Practice Times:  Monday through Friday

4:00pm - 6:00pm (Session I only), 9:30am - 11:30am (July/August sessions)

Cost: $400/camp, installment payments available at registration

Experienced High School Summer Camps

Monday - Friday

For our experienced High School athletes, summer is a great time to keep your fitness up and develop your small boat skills. Rising 9th-12th graders who plan to compete with RRC in the Fall season are strongly encouraged to train with this program through the summer. These camps are also open to new rowers who are rising 11th or 12th graders who are

committed to learning to row later in their High School career.

Recommended experience level:

3+ months or completed Learn to Row camp in 2024, or rising 10th and 11th graders who are new to rowing

Session I Dates: Monday, July 8th - Friday, August 2nd

Session II Dates: Monday, August 5th - Friday, August 23rd

Practice Times:  Monday through Friday, 7:00am - 9:00am

Cost: $400/camp, installment payments available at registration

Experienced Middle School Summer Camps

Tuesdays - Thursdays

We encourage our younger experienced athletes to continue honing their skills and building bonds with their teammates through the summer! Our Experienced Middle School camps are open to any athletes going into 6th-8th grade in the 2024/25 school year who have rowed for at least 3 months continuously. Middle School athletes who have rowed with our Fall, Winter, or Spring programs are encouraged to enroll in this program. 

Recommended experience level:

3+ months or completed Learn to Row camp in 2024

Session I Dates: Tuesday, July 9th - Thursday, August 1st

Session II Dates: Tuesday, August 6th - Thursday, August 22nd

Practice Times:  Tuesday through Thursday, 7:00am - 9:00am

Cost: $250/camp, installment payments available at registration

Adult Learn to Row

Mondays & Wednesdays

6:30pm - 8pm

Learn to Row sessions are four weeks long with two classes each week and are designed for individuals with no prior rowing experience. No fitness or rowing prerequisites are required - rowing is for everyone! Classes will instruct participants on the basics of the sculling discipline

of rowing. Participants will have the opportunity to further improve their technical skills once they register for an RRC membership and sign up for our Intermediate and Experienced Adult classes.

Classes meet on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:30pm - 8:00pm for four weeks per session.

Cost : $175.00

Adult Membership

Required for all Adult participants, with the exception of Learn to Row students.

Membership is required for all adults (except Learn to Row participants). We currently offer two different membership options. For more information and FAQs, please visit the Adult Rowing page or email info@rentonrowingcenter.org

2024 Discount Annual Membership: Best value for consistent members or private boat owners. This membership is a one-year commitment and cannot be cancelled until paid in full. Can be paid in monthly installments, or upfront in full upon registration.

$45/month or $540/annually

2024 Flexible Membership: Most flexible option for new rowers or members with varying schedules. This membership can be cancelled at any time for no additional cost. Can be paid in monthly installments, or upfront in full upon registration.

 

Please note: flexible memberships can only be canceled or suspended by an administrator. Please email us if you need to make changes to your membership.

$55/month or $660/annually

Adult Coached Program Fees

Required for members who participate in coached programs.

In addition to your membership, members who wish to participate in coached programs must sign up for a class pass or other coached program fees. We currently offer three different coached program fee options. Select the option that works best for your goals and schedule! Spring Class Pass: Provides unlimited access to coached programs in March through May of 2024.

$85/month or $255/total

Punch Card: Provides access to any 10 coached classes with no expiration date from the time of purchase. Purchase on TeamSnap, then your coach will track your punches as you go!

$150 for a 10-class Punch Card

Drop-In Fee: Not sure how many classes you will attend? Members without a Class Pass or Punch Card can drop in to any class for a $15 fee per class attended. Available for easy purchase on-site with the assistance of a coach or staff member via cash or check.
