1xs Safety Clinic

Saturday, June 25th

Adults: 7am - 9am

Youth: 9am - 10am

Learn the fundamentals of on-water safety with RRC! Hosted at the Lindbergh Pool, our 1xs Safety Clinic will instruct you on the basics of how to keep yourself and others safe in the event of an emergency on the water. Practice flipping, self-rescuing, and rescuing others. You will also receive a briefing on need-to-know safety facts, and you can take or renew your Float Test while you're at it!

This is a semi-annual training hosted at the Lindbergh Pool in Renton, WA. This clinic is encouraged for all athletes, regardless of skill level. Participants will be provided with a certificate of completion.

Saturday, June 25th - 1 hour time slots available adult sessions running from 7am - 9am, youth sessions running from 9am - 10am

Experienced High School Summer Camps

Monday - Friday

7:00am - 9:00am

These summer camps are designed for rising 9th - 12th graders with at least one season or a full Learn to Row camp completed. The focus of these camps will be maintaining and enhancing skill and fitness levels through the "off" season of summer. Training plans will balance technique, strength, fitness, and eventual race preparation for our competitive athletes who will be training during the fall season. These camps are two-week sessions that operate Monday - Friday from 7am - 9am.

Novice rowers with little or no prior experience are encouraged to check out our Learn to Row Youth camps, listed below.

Cost: $150/camp

Experienced Middle School Summer Camps

4:00pm - 6:00pm

Our experienced Middle School Summer Camps are designed for rising 6th - 8th graders with at least one full season or a full Learn to Row camp completed. The focus of these camps will be on honing the fundamental skills of rowing through friendly competition, games, and on-water play. Summer is an important time for our Middle School athletes to form social bonds and improve their communication and leadership skills. These camps are two-week sessions that operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 4pm - 6pm.

Youth Learn to Row Summer Camps

Monday - Friday

We are offering one-week Learn to Row camps this summer for athletes who have little or no rowing experience. These camps are open to all Novice youth athletes ages 11 - 18. This camp will take a fun, fast track approach to instructing the basics of rowing. Rowers will be familiarized with need-to-know rowing terminology, technique, and waterway safety in South Lake Washington. New athletes are encouraged to enroll in multiple camps in order to maximize the learning process. These one-week sessions operate Monday-Friday with the exception of Session 1, which operates Tuesday-Friday to avoid the holiday. Times vary, so please check the information below!

Session 1: July 5th - July 8th (3:30pm - 6:00pm)

Session 2: July 25th - July 29th (7:00am - 9:00am)

Session 3: August 22nd - August 26th (9:30am - 11:30am)

Adult Learn to Row

Tuesdays & Thursdays

6:30pm - 8pm

Learn to Row sessions are four weeks long with two classes each week. Classes will instruct participants on the basics of both sculling and sweep disciplines of rowing. Participants will have the opportunity to further improve their technical skills once they register for an RRC membership and sign up for our Intermediate and Experienced Adult classes.

Adult Membership

Required for all Adult participants, with the exception of Learn to Row students.

Discount Annual Membership: Best value for consistent members or private boat owners. This membership is a one-year commitment and cannot be cancelled until paid in full. Can be paid in monthly installments, or upfront in full upon registration.

$40.50/month or $486/annually

Flexible Annual Membership: Most flexible option for new rowers or members with varying schedules. This membership can be cancelled at any time for no additional cost. Can be paid in monthly installments, or upfront in full upon registration.

Adult Coached Program Fees

Required for members who participate in coached programs.

In addition to your membership, members who wish to participate in coached programs must sign up for a class pass or other coached program fees. We currently offer three different coached program fee options. Select the option that works best for your goals and schedule! Drop-In Fee: Not sure how many classes you will attend? Members without a Class Pass or Punch Card can drop in to any class for a $15 fee per class attended. Available for easy purchase on-site with the assistance of a coach or staff member.
